I'm a student at ECU Joondalup campus and was staying at one of Farida's houses for two semesters. I must say it is a great place to stay especially for students. Quiet and clean home to stay and of course it is very convenient for students due to its location. The quiet and clean environment really plays an important role especially for students. House is fully equipped with the necessary appliances. The owner is friendly, helpful, easy to talk to and always there to ensure that we are comfortable and satisfied living there. I resided on Lakeside Drive with Farida and Neil as the property owners from January 2013 - June 2016 during my studies at Edith Cowan University. Throughout my stay, both Farida and Neil were friendly and welcoming and were both very approachable. They were prompt and assisted with any concerns or issues raised for the house during my stay and supported me with any difficulties with other housemates. As a tenant I felt I could openly communicate with both Farida and Neil without judgement and were both swift to resolve any issues that I was experiencing. Farida provided notice well in advance for any works or services being completed on the house, which allowed for housemates to prepare and make adequate arrangements or complete required household duties. I found that whilst living here, I made friends that have become like family and I was able to happily complete my work for university in a quiet and supportive environment. This was due to the personable nature of Farida and Neil, and the freedom that the house and location provided. If you are looking for accommodation, I highly recommend Lakeside Drive to not only live, but call home.

For the past 3 years I have been living in on Lakeside Drive and it honestly felt like home! My two landlords, Neil and Farida, have always been so friendly and gone to great extents to make me feel comfortable and help me settle in to a new place far from home. The fact that the house is within walking distance from shops, Tafe and the university has been so convenient for me, particularly because I don’t have a car. Furthermore, I loved the fact that there was a park behind the house especially because I was lucky enough to spot a few kangaroos – my favourite animals!

I lived in lakeside drive for 6 months and I can honestly say I really felt at home here. The room was by far the nicest around and very reasonable considering I had my own bathroom with a shower. I felt very safe here and the girls in the house were all lovely. Farida goes above and beyond to ensure you’re settling in ok which is really comforting especially for myself who came to Perth on my own. I would really recommend living here, and it’s also so close to everything and the shopping centre is within walking distance. A perfect location! 😊

I stayed in Lakeside Drive for almost 2 years spending those time with memories worth remembering. The room rate was reasonable with amenities boarders are conveniently looking for like bathroom of your own. Its location is ideal, close to almost everywhere one needs to go. It's located at a perfect spot (i.e. 5 mins walk to ECU Joondalup; 10 mins walk to Spudshed; 2 mins to bus stop) and safe housing area with great facilities provided.
